Our assigned room had several issues, including a missing drawer, a working light that was non-functional, and a balcony that was more of an eyesore than a retreat. the bathroom revealed corrosion around the taps, and we found a considerable amount of dog hair on the carpet, which was unexpected given the pet-friendly claim. The breakfast buffet was often lacking in replenishment, resulting in longer waits for food items. the first impressions were clouded by the need for urgent maintenance and a new stylistic vision.

Crikey, the fish and chips had me gobsmacked! The local chippy just down the road serves the best batter I've ever tasted. Plus, the buffet breakfast was a real treat—choices galore, fit for a king!

I had a pleasant surprise with the room upgrade when I mentioned my stay was for an anniversary, and they even decorated it for us with nice banners and a card. The service at the bar was great, especially from a young man making cocktails, he was engaging and really made my night enjoyable.
